Adoiiiii……tolong lah cepat sikit masa berlalu….hehehe….tak sabar2 dah nak gi vacation nih!!! LOL…

The last time i went on vacation was in February…maser gi Guangzhou tuh….but it wasn’t really a vacation, it was more like a working retreat But still, it was really really fun….

But this time, it’s going to be a real vacation….but i’m foreseeing i have to do a little bit of designing work as well….huhuhu….harap2 still ader orang yang akan call untuk tempah kad raya

Rumah tak kemas lagik, seriously ruang tamu tuh berhabuk giler….mmg kena kemaskan….adoiiii, nampak nyer saya terpaksa menjadi “household supervisor” lah weekend nih…..BTW, kepada sesiapa yang tak tahu lagik, the new and more polite term for “orang gaji” or “amah rumah” now is “household supervisor”…gituhh!!!

Anyway, Iznan will be taking leave from work for 40 days starting tomorrow….and Bal will be going to Germany on Wednesday for 2 weeks….so, saya sorang2 jer kat office nanti!!!! Sedih nyer…..kalau ader hantu cam ner???

Kat rumah pon minggu nih saya sorang2 gak….Awin gi vacation ker Bandung sementara nak tunggu start kerja baru dier (FYI, dier baru resign company lama dier…hehehe)….Shah pulak busy untuk preparation majlis bertunang dier weekend nih….girlfriend dier baru balik dari New Zealand…so, berdating sakan lah dier tuh!!! LOL

It seems like i am destined to be alone…..sigh….LOL!

4 Tahun Berlalu…

Tanggal 30 Julai nanti, maka genaplah 4 tahun saya meninggalkan US….dan meninggalkan alam pengajian….untuk pulang ke tanahair sebagai seorang graduan….

4 tahun berlalu…..terlalu banyak yang telah saya belajar….terlalu banyak yang telah saya tempuhi….dan saya tak dapat untuk mengelakkan diri daripada mengalami perubahan…..

Antara “the biggest highlights in my life” selama 4 tahun ini:-

1. The most obvious one semestinya adalah peralihan kerjaya saya daripada seorang “engineer” / “business consultant” kepada seorang “educator”….
2. Pertambahan ahli keluarga; kak long dan kak ngah sudah pon berkahwin dan masing2 mempunyai seorang anak.
3. Kesempatan untuk menjelajah ke beberapa buah negara/tempat lain: Hong Kong, Mumbai, Singapore (tak penah gi Singapore sebelum gi US), Indonesia, Guangzhou…
4. Terjerumus ke dalam kancah “graphic designing”….tak sangka betul!!!

Antara perubahan paling ketara yang sama nampak pada diri saya selepas 4 tahun ini:-

1. Makin organized.
2. Makin penyabar. Dulu mmg penyabar jugak, tetapi senang juga nak “melatah” kalau berlaku apa2 perkara yang tak diingini. Sekarang nih mmg susah giler ah nak mengamuk….hehehe. Alhamdulillah…betul kater orang, wise comes with age….setuju sgt…
3. Skill berbahasa English agak berkurangan sikit…maybe sebab dah tak cakap English selalu dah…perkara ini disahkan benar oleh Cory jugak….mmg tak leh buat aper….but i know my english is still very very good…..kena selalu gunakan dengan lebih kerap….tapi, walau aper pon, i never speak with “Chinse English”….sorry, no offense but i HATE it! Putting “-ah” at every sentence is a huge deal breaker for me….
4. Sekarang saya make sure saya selalu fokus kepada bahagian positif bagi sesetiap perkara….tapi, kadang2 tuh negatif lah jugak…nak buat camner, manusia biasa….
5. Dulu tak reti memblog……sekarang, BLOGGAHOLIC!!!! LOL!!!

4 tahun…pantas sungguh masa berlalu, lagik sebulan masuk umur 27….huhuhu….regardless of what people think about me, i know i am very matured…..and thanks to Olay Total Effects, i can enjoy my bday wrinkle-free!!! LOL….ok, that was a really silly joke Hehehe….

I know this might sound shallow (or stupid)….but i kinda want these 2 things before i’m off for my vacation…

Straw grass fedora. I saw one at Topman but it’s 90 ringgit…too expensive!!!

Not-So-Sunny Sunday Morning

It’s Sunday and clouds are covering the sun this morning….there isn’t enough sunlight to brighten the day….i just hope thunderstorm isn’t gonna happen today….

As i mentioned in my previous entry, my weekend has been super busy. I didn’t sleep on Friday night because i had tons to finish by Saturday afternoon. Boy, customers can be so demanding!

Anyway, today seems a little bit more free and i can finally catch some breath. Nothing much is going down today other than cleaning my room and doing some groceries. I have finished almost all my designing task but i still have only a little bit more to do

The “makan durian” family gathering didn’t happen this weekend, my aunt had to postpone it until next weekend. I really hope i can make it next weekend, but i’m afraid i’m gonna be busy preparing a few stuff before Cory arrives here on the 15th.

I honestly can’t wait for my long due vacation. I can’t wait to see Cory again…and I equally can’t wait to go visit KS and Jinda in Singapore. I talked to KS and Jinda a few days ago and it seems like they are all prepped up for our arrival They already applied some leave from work so that they can hang out with us during the entire week. Yippie!!!

I am so anxious to know whether that semi-govenment agency will agree to hire me to make their raya card this year or not. If they end up picking me, i know i’d be making alot of money and i’m planning to utilize the money to go to China and buy more stuff to sell on my blog!!! hehehehe…..

Well, i guess that’s all for now. I’m so hungry right now, i think i need to go out hunting for some food

Rezeki….

Sejak hari yang saya iklankan tentang tempahan kad hari raya rekaan saya sendiri dan juga yang ready made, respon yang saya terima melangkaui apa yang saya harapkan….alhamdulillah….

So far, semua yang bertanya telah pon 50% comfirm, bermaksud mereka semua akan menilai rekaan saya dan akan memberi kata putus selepas itu.

Saya tak mengharapkan apa2, sebab saya percaya sekiranya rezeki tersebut telah termaktub untuk saya, saya akan terima juga lambat laun….saya dah reka semua design sehabis baik (sampai tak tidor malam sebab banyak sgt kena buat) dan skrg hanya menunggu respon mereka….

Buat setakat ini, terdapat 3 tempahan besar yang saya terima:-

1. Sebuah agensi semi-kerajaan = 4000 keping kad hari raya & lebih kurang 20,000 keping sampul duit raya (original design)
2. Sebuah private law firm = 1500 keping kad (original design)
3. Unnamed company = 1500 keping kad (ready made with customized leaflet)

Kesemuanya masih lagi menilai hasil rekaan saya. Mereka semua jugak ada menerima rekaan2 dari graphic designer yang lain…..jadi, tunggu jer lah….

Kalau tak dapat pon, saya tak kecewa, at least bakat saya dah tersebar sikit ke beberapa company…..considering yang saya hanya lakukan ini semua sebagai hobby, i think i’m truly blessed already

Insyaallah, kalau saya dapat close untuk semua order besar nih, saya niat nak bawak mama saya gi China sebelum bulan puasa ini….amin…..

Aper2, saya gembira hasil kerja saya di-appreciate…..walaupon kalau tak terpilih

Berikut adalah 4 option design yang saya reka untuk agensi semi-kerajaan tersebut:-

Option 1 : Diilhamkan daripada seni ukiran kaligrafi pada batu kapur yang digunakan di dalam pembinaan masjid2 lama di Timur Tengah.

Option 2 : Diilhamkan daripada warna-warna panas dari iklim negara berkawasan padang pasir. Turut diselitkan ialah corak geometri senibina dari Morocco.

Option 3 : Gabungan seni rekaan batik dari Nusantara (Bunga) dan seni geometri Islam dari Timur Tengah (Latar Belakang).

Option 4 : Rekaan ringkas tetapi elegan yang diilhamkan dari 3 warna asas logo agensi tersebut; Biru, Kuning dan Putih. Turut diselitkan rekaan khas geometri dari Timur Tengah.

I’m Too Busy!!!

OMG…i have TONS of designing work to do this weekend.

I thought about going out to do a little shopping, but obviously i had to cancel it.

Juicy-less

Apology for juicy-less entries lately….

I’ve been ignoring about my other personal stories and have been too focused on my Hari Raya card designing thingy….

To be honest, there isn’t any juicy story anyways to tell….life has been too normal lately….

I guess i have to work extra hard for this coming week, so that i could enjoy my vacation afterwards to the max!

Just a Quick Update…

1. Chances are Cory will get the job that he just interviewed for. So, i’m happy for you, buddy! (Noted that as for now, Cory can’t really quit his teaching job, so he has to start the new job only as part time. Hopefully by next year, he will managed to get out of his teaching job contract and focus on making lots of games!!)
2. Rahman will be resuming back his study starting next week. He will go back to USM this Friday. Rahman, take a very very good care of your health, ok? I pray that you will manage to juggle your health and your classes easily. Semoga Allah permudahkan hari2 man kat sana. Harap2 kawan2 di sana tak lokek kudrat nak tolong man biler man perlukan bantuan.
3. As for myself, i’m in the midst of closing a huge designing and printing job. If i manage to close this deal, i could make several K’s….hehehehe

Oh yeah, i think i need more than today for my “blogging” break. So, most probably, you won’t be seeing any update tomorrow as well. I just need more time to think and focus on a few things….

Lack Of Mood To Update :-)

This will be my ONLY post for today (unless i have any breaking juicy news)….no mood what so ever today….so, i thought i should just be quiet today rather than merapu tak tentu hala….i’m ok, don’t worry, just need to clear my mind a little bit…maybe a serving of ice cream would help….
