Last night i went to watch movie with Amalin at Pavilion. At first we wanted to watch 2012 but all tickets were sold out. So, we decided to watch Thai horror flick, Phobia 2 instead.

The movie was beyond my expectation. It was really really good…..and by good i mean scary!!!

Phobia 2 was a complication of 5 short horror movies from Thailand. People claimed that it must have been the scariest thai movie ever and i could understand why.

Malin and I found ourselves jumping off our seats alot of times. Hehehe. The chinese couple who sat next to us left the cinema in the middle of the movie because they couldn’t take it anymore. I thought that was funny….

Anyway, before catching the movie, Malin and I had dinner at the food court area. I ordered Rojak Petis and Lemonade.

I had rojak petis many many times before in the past. However, last night it was different. I had allergic reaction to the petis. During the movie, i was scratching my self like a chimp. My throat felt really itchy and both my ears felt very warm.

Thank God i survived the allergic reaction…and somehow managed to enjoy the movie. Hehehe….

So, that was my night last night

I will be moving to my new place in a week. I have a mixed feeling about it.

Things are quite busy at the office. Sometimes it’s kinda overwhelming….but still manageable. Nothing is not manageable to me

I still yet to buy my bus ticket for Raya Haji holiday. Maybe i should do it today.

There are alot of things still need to be packed before i move out. So lazy to do it.

My energy has been going down tremendously lately. I wake up every morning feeling tired. I yawn endlessly. I’ve been having a severe pain on my back and at both of my kidneys area (at the sides of my waist). Even lying down to sleep can be painful to me now….

I’m on my down time from any graphic designing work. I’m planning to do some reading to fill my time…

Other than that, life has been normal these days…and by normal i mean kinda dry….hehehe….

I should make another video blog update today…but i don’t know, i don’t really have anything to talk about…we’ll see how things go…

Part of being an empowered person is having intimate knowledge and awareness of yourself as an individual, including your strengths, talents, weaknesses, capabilities and limitations.

How well do you know yourself? You’d be surprised how many people don’t know themselves at all! If you’ve spent the majority of your time focusing on the people around you, you may not have a clear self-image, which can lead to feelings of inner disconnection and disempowerment.

On the other hand, when you know yourself well you are empowered in that knowledge. You feel confident, self-assured, centered and strong, which enables you to live purposely and make more beneficial decisions.

Getting to know yourself is easy to do with a consistent investment of time and focus. Basically, you’d start just like you would if you wanted to get to know another person better – you’d spend quality time with them! By spending frequent quality time with yourself, you’ll gain a clearer idea of who you are.

No. 1 : Start by considering your interests and passions!!! Grab a sheet of paper and jot down some of the things you enjoy doing now, or have wanted to explore in the past. If you’re not sure, think about the things you did when you were younger. Have you always had an interest in creative activities like art and photography? Did you belong to any clubs in school? Have you always wanted to take foreign language classes or travel to exotic places?

Eventually you’ll want to devote time to exploring these activities because they’ll help you to grow more fully into yourself as a person. However, for now simply explore your dreams, passions and interests on paper.

It’s also a good idea to get an idea of your personal values using this same process. What is most important to you? Honesty, love, compassion, service to others, family connections, making a positive difference in the world? Jot down some ideas about the things that really matter to you. Through these values you’ll get a clearer idea of the type of person you are.

Eventually you’ll want to be sure that the majority of your daily activities are in line with these values. For example, does your job support your value of honesty, or are you required to “fib” or act in ways that are contrary to your values? This is important because you will never feel truly empowered until you are living in alignment with your core values!

Another great way to get to know yourself better is through journaling or BLOGGING!!!. When you journal or blog, you are connecting with a deeper part of yourself: your authentic self! Start by writing down some of your inner thoughts and insights about yourself. If you’re not sure exactly what to write, try asking questions like these:

Who am I?

Why am I here?

What is my life purpose?

What am I here to contribute to the world?

What do others think of me?

Is that who I really am?

Don’t worry about getting the answers right – the important thing is to explore your personality and get a clearer idea of who you are. Open your mind and let the answers spill out onto the page.

Getting to know yourself is a process that will continue throughout the rest of your life, but the more connected you become with your inner self, the more confident, self-assured – and empowered – you’re going to feel.

I am so sorry for lacking of posts yesterday. It’s so funny that i feel like i have to apologize for making 3 posts in one day…like everyone else is posting that many entries as well. LOL. I’m nuts!!!

Anyway, i was so busy yesterday and today is going to be the same. I need to manage the shipping of the book orders to 30 addresses today. The courier guy will come to pick up the packages in the afternoon so i need to finish everything by then.

I will try to post something if i manage to find time today.

When it comes to abundance and prosperity, expectations are vitally important. The Law of Attraction teaches us that we tend to receive exactly what we expect in life. Why is this? How do expectations work with the Law of Attraction?

If you’ve studied the Law of Attraction at all, you know that your thoughts and emotions release an energetic frequency out to the Universe. Whatever is vibrating at this same frequency will be pulled into your reality. If you emit low vibrations like anger, fear, or cynicism, you will attract corresponding experiences and events. If you emit high vibrations like joy, love, and passion, you will again attract corresponding experiences and events.

Another important part of this process, however, involves your expectations. Perhaps you can remember expecting something that did indeed happen. Sometimes we do this in a positive way: “Today is going to be a great day, I just know it!” and sometimes we do it in a negative way: “Ugh – today is going to be ‘one of those days’.”

Expectations can be powerful, especially if they are backed up with firm conviction and unwavering faith.

Below you’ll find some simple tips to help you learn to expect the best – and get it!

First, you must choose to expect the best in every situation. This will be challenging if you don’t have full control of your thoughts yet. If you haven’t developed a strong focus, you’ll probably keep vacillating back and forth between random thoughts and focused thoughts until you train your mind. Simply keep at it! Keep saying things like, “I know this is going to work out for the best,” or “I know I will turn this situation to my advantage somehow,” or “I expect the best and the best always comes to me!”

Avoid negative talk like the plague. By “negative talk” I mean complaining, arguing, or doom predictions – anything that drags down your emotions and contradicts your positive expectations. If other people try to engage you in negative talk, you may have to be firm to avoid it. You might also need to limit the amount of time you spend with negative people. Try to always phrase your statements in a positive way. Instead of saying, “This won’t be easy,” say, “I can handle this.”

KNOW that your expectation will come true. You may wonder how to “know” when you really don’t know yet! If it hasn’t happened yet, how can you be sure it will? This type of knowing is based solely on faith. You are CHOOSING to know. It might take awhile to get comfortable with this, but once you do it becomes a lot easier. In order to really know, you’re going to have to completely banish doubt and disbelief from your mind. When they pop up, simply push them out of your mind and affirm again that you KNOW your expectation will happen.

These three simple things can make a world of difference in your ability to attract what you want, and when the actualizations start showing up in your life, you’ll be able to add that much more faith and confidence to your expectations – which will make them still more effective!

Being in the education line for several years now, i have encountered countless amount of over-achieving parents. Let me be honest, they drive me off the wall. They’re simply annoying. I only have 4 words for them: chill the fuck out!

These days, for some reason that i just don’t see, more young parents are trying to be super-parents. On top of that, they force try to so-called groom their children to be super-human. How can they expect their kids to be this and that at such young age while they themselves didn’t do all that when they were young? If i asked them, i’m freaking sure they would say stuff like “our kids deserve better than what we used to have when we were young” or “we just want to prepare our kids for a brighter future”.

Yes, sure…i can accept that answer, BUT please and i mean please, do it timely. You cannot expect your 2-year old baby to recite ‘one to ten’ in 3 languages….or expect your 14-year old teen to do pre-college math. Yeah, of course there are A FEW cases that some kids are just born to be geniuses, but i am speaking in general now.

Children deserve to have their time to learn things. Let them enjoy their learning process. There are times when we have to induce the learning process, but NOT all the time.

Please parents, you are not bad parents if you cannot afford RM800-per-month kindergarten, nor you are when you kid turns out to be not so good in Math or Science. Different child was born with different talent, let them discover what their passions are…and support them all the way.

I had a friend who was staying abroad, he got married and had his first child there. Once, he made a statement to me, “Aku takut lah nak balik Malaysia nanti. Semua aspek dekat Malaysia tak kondusif untuk pembesaran anak aku“. My response was simple : FUCK YOU.

Sorry buddy but you gotta be the snobbiest person i know. Lupa daratan. Look at you, you grew up in Malaysia and you turned out fantastic! So, why didn’t you think the same thing would happen to your kid? Tak sedar diri betul!

I’m sure over-achieving parents out there would say this to me : “Alah, nanti engkau ada anak, engkau pon jadi sama macam kitorang jugak…“

My response : HELL NO, I WON’T.

I have a firm firm belief that every kid’s childhood is THE MOST priceless thing one can have. I will definitely let my children to learn things when they are ready….and let them have they sweets when i think they deserve some. Most importantly, i will let my kids do whatever they want within reason, if they insist to doodle on the wall so that they can learn something, then so be it. I want my kids to be smart in a normal way. I wouldn’t pay extra dime on my kids just to make sure i look better as a parent than my friends.

I grew up with very little supervision from my parents…really, i shit you not…..but i turned out fine…heck, i turned out AWESOME! So, i wouldn’t change anything for my kids.

The worst abuse one can do to a child is giving the child a very restricted childhood.

Everything is finalized….i’m very happy….Prasath is even happier!!! Alhamdulillah….

Success is not just reserved for a chosen few. Everyone, yes everyone, has the capacity to be successful in every area of his or her life. Success results from cultivating certain habits and sticking to them.

Consistency is a must. Successful people have a certain type of personality. Successful people think in a particular way, talk in a particular way and act in a particular way.

Do you want to be successful too? Here are 10 principles of success that are bound to help you if you follow them.

1. Develop a clear vision of what exactly you want to achieve in your life. Carry this vision in your mind at all times. This is the starting point to success.
